And a few hours later, Cataclysm was done! Compared to Spine, Madness was no challenge at all unfortunately - really feels under-tuned or lacking in new deadly mechanics. More like "Mild Inconvenience of Deathwing" than Madness of ...
But hey, you can only pewpew what's put in front of you - a well-earnt relaxing time in the run up to Mists for us all now!
Some fun facts:
- We spent less time progressing on Madness than we did on Mor'chok.
- We had more wipes trying to do the Hagara achievement on 25-man than on Madness heroic.
- We did most of the fight, including the final two platforms' DPS check, with 2 DPS dead and no rez's left.
So yeah, Spine is the real victory this tier for sure :)
Here's some screenies and Fraps - the usual shizzle:
Alixaria's PoV (Resto Druid):
Aeri's PoV (Resto Shammy):
Fu's PoV (Blood DK):

Spine finally down! Easily the hardest boss so far in the tier, around 100 wipes. Taken down the first week with the 10% buff, although we had several very close tries with 5%. In truth I think it was the adjusted tactics for the first plate that were the difference ...
Epic ending to the fight too ... it had to be the screenie ...
One boss left guys :)
And some Fraps:

Only needed about an hour's progress on Yor'sahj to take him down on 25-man heroic. Shame we didn't go there a bit earlier :)
Kill was naturally messy as hell with only a handful of pulls, but that just made it funnier. First 4 bosses down on heroic, on to the business end of the tier now!
And the Fraps showing all our screw ups :)

Yesterday we bagged ourselves a kill of the buggy-as-hell Zon'ozz on 25-man heroic, bringing ourselves to 3/8hc.
So yeah, we're still alive and raiding, despite the lack of posts here! Mor'chok and Hagara were just so easy that I didn't feel like posting their screenies (or in the case of Mor'chok even taking one at all) ... amirite? Definitely nothing to do with me forgetting.
In truth, so far nothing's taken us more than a few nights practice to work out a tactic and get 25 people pulling in the same direction. Have a feeling things are about to get quite a bit tougher though ... we shall see :)

Dragon Soul cleared on 25-man normal. Despite some fun mechanics, in the end it was far too easy really - took only a couple of hours with a handful of wipes at most, even with no PTR practice whatsoever. Shame really :(
Here's hoping that heroic modes give us something a bit more challenging!
Obligatory screenie with fire kats:

We are Firelords!
Rag proved a tough cookie but we're delighted to have taken him out before the next tier of content rolls around. Huge amount of effort from all involved, special thanks to those that worked hard on it but couldn't be there for the kill - we'll keep going back ;)
Screenie and Fraps below - we miffled him good :)
Alixaria's Fraps (Resto Druid PoV):
Aeri's Fraps (Enhance Shammy / Deluge PoV):

So yeah, we *may* actually have killed Baleroc on 25-heroic 3 weeks ago, and we *may* have a slacky officer who kept forgetting to the post the screenie. I think we should all just brush past that, pretending it didn't happen ... so ...
ZOMG Baleroc 25-man heroic down for AC! (... 3 weeks ago). We're now 6/7 heroic and fired up for some Raggy heroic progress! (... and likely still will be in 3 weeks). I'm sure nobody will remember that our Raid Leader caused a 1% wipe because he didn't run his Countdown together! (... even 3 week later).

Rounded out our week by grabbing our first legendary caster staff - Dragonwrath, Tarecgosa's Rest. Massive gratz to Eradras for being the first to get it - thoroughly deserved :)
Screenie and Fraps below for posterity!

Well, we were expecting this one to be a bit tougher to be honest - only 2 hours progress time needed to take down Ragnaros' new Majordomo.
Another realm first on 25-man, AC sitting on 5/7 heroic with Bally and Raggy to go. Exciting times!
